The Physics Playground: Bounce, Tilt, Collapse, Repeat
Some rows on this floor test your hands; the physics row tests your curiosity. These are cabinets where the launch is yours but the landing belongs to gravity, and where the difference between a triumph and a catastrophe is usually one degree of angle. We built this playlist for the experimenters — the players whose first move in any new game is to see what breaks, tips, rolls or folds.
The front of the list holds the scientists' favourites: orbital golf that treats planets as furniture, and a crash-test sandbox with a genuinely royal commitment to destruction. Deeper in, the puzzles arrive — pins, screws and rolling races where physics stops being the joke and becomes the exam. Notes flag which is which, so you can choose between playing with the sandbox and being marked by it.
The picks, with the crew's reasoning
A ragdoll, a playground, and physics with no adult supervision. Less a game you beat than a variety show you direct.
Golf where the course is a solar system and every planet bends your shot. The calmest-looking cabinet on the row and the sneakiest.
Crash-testing conducted with royal thoroughness: pick a car, pick a ramp, and file the results under extremely valuable research.
The exam end of the row: pins and screws in the right order, or the whole structure files a complaint. Thinking in load-bearing terms.
A two-player rolling race across the waves — part driving game, part balance exam, all momentum.
