Log Flyer: Grandpa Takes Off
The pitch
Build a flying log and send Grandpa soaring across a snowy mountain valley! Launch from a ramp, balance your flight, and earn coins to upgrade the nose cone, wings, engine, fuel tank, and ramp. Complete permanent missions, unlock colorful paint jobs and pilot titles, meet a startled eagle, and reach the village to earn a cheerful piglet copilot. The village is not the finish line: keep flying and chase your best single-flight distance on the SCORE leaderboard. Includes English and Russian text and voice acting.
Controls & how it runs
Press Let's Fly to launch. On desktop, hold W or Up Arrow to raise the nose, S or Down Arrow to lower it, and Space to run the installed engine. Release Space to glide and save fuel. On mobile, hold the round up and down buttons on the left to steer, and hold the engine button on the right for thrust. Earn coins after each flight, buy and equip upgrades in the workshop, and fly farther. Reach the village at 6 km, then continue toward a new distance record. An optional video reward in the workshop grants 300 coins only after a completed ad. Open Settings for sound, language, and control instructions.
Getting a run going takes exactly one press: Press start, up top, and the game boots inside this page — nothing downloads in the background and no form wants your details before the first jump. The cabinet is drawn for a flexible screen and listens to mouse, keyboard or touch, whichever the game prefers. It reshapes itself for tall and wide screens alike, so phone, tablet and desktop all get the full picture. Given a fullscreen button, use it — scores look better at full size, that's just science.
Pro tips for arcade cabinets
- Treat your first run as a scouting mission. Arcade cabinets hide their cruelty in the second minute, not the first — learn where the difficulty spikes before you start chasing numbers.
- Small scores compound. Grab the easy pickups on every pass instead of gambling the whole run on one heroic line; heroes respawn, banked points don't evaporate.
- Watch the edges of the screen. In classic arcade design the next problem almost always enters from somewhere you weren't looking — build the habit of scanning the borders.
