Shoot the Bubble
The pitch
Dive into the classic puzzle game that has won over millions of players! Aim, shoot, and match three or more bubbles of the same color to pop them and clear the board. Every shot counts, and the most spectacular combos can earn you record-breaking scores. Adventure Mode Take on hundreds of levels: plan bank shots off the walls to strategically destroy bubbles, unlock special bubbles, and face increasingly difficult challenges. Challenge Mode Put your nerves to the test in endless mode! The wall of bubbles moves toward you: create combos to push it back and never let it cross the danger line. How long can you survive? Special Bubbles Unleash chaos with special bubbles: the Lightning Bubble makes a certain number of bubbles matching the color it hits explode, the Bomb Bubble destroys everything around its landing point, while the Fire Bubble and Mystery Bubble add strategy and surprises.
Controls & how it runs
The goal is simple: pop the bubbles by matching three or more bubbles of the same color. Aim carefully, use bank shots off the side walls, and clear the board. On Desktop * Aim: move the mouse to adjust the aiming line, which starts from the launcher at the bottom and shows you the bubble’s trajectory. * Shoot: left-click to launch the bubble in the indicated direction. * Bank shots: the bubble bounces off the side walls. Use the aiming line to hit groups of bubbles that are difficult to reach with a direct shot. On Mobile * Aim: place your finger on the screen and drag it to adjust the direction. The aiming line is always visible and helps you aim precisely. * Shoot: lift your finger (or tap the screen) to launch the bubble toward the target. * Bank shots: just like on desktop, use the side walls to angle your shots. In Challenge Mode: the wall of bubbles continuously moves downward. Create combos to push it back, and don’t let the bubbles cross the danger line.
Getting a run going takes exactly one press: Press start, up top, and the game boots inside this page — nothing downloads in the background and no form wants your details before the first jump. The cabinet is drawn for a portrait (upright) screen and listens to mouse, keyboard or touch, whichever the game prefers. This cabinet stands tall: it was built for portrait screens, so a phone held upright gives it the frame it wants — though it will squeeze politely into any window. Given a fullscreen button, use it — scores look better at full size, that's just science.
Pro tips for arcade cabinets
- Treat your first run as a scouting mission. Arcade cabinets hide their cruelty in the second minute, not the first — learn where the difficulty spikes before you start chasing numbers.
- Small scores compound. Grab the easy pickups on every pass instead of gambling the whole run on one heroic line; heroes respawn, banked points don't evaporate.
- Watch the edges of the screen. In classic arcade design the next problem almost always enters from somewhere you weren't looking — build the habit of scanning the borders.
Shoot the Bubble — quick-fire questions
Does Shoot the Bubble cost anything to play?
Not a token. The cabinet is free from the first run to the five-hundredth — no wallet, no sign-up, no toll booth hiding three levels in. The adverts around the page are what keep the floor's lights on.
What sort of game is Shoot the Bubble?
It stands on our Arcade row — that's the family it plays most like. The pitch above is the publisher's own rundown of what it throws at you and what it hands back.
Can I play Shoot the Bubble on my phone?
Happily, yes. It runs inside the browser on phones and tablets the same way it does on a computer. This cabinet stands tall: it was built for portrait screens, so a phone held upright gives it the frame it wants — though it will squeeze politely into any window.
Do I need to install anything first?
Nothing whatsoever. Shoot the Bubble is an HTML5 game: hit the start button and it boots on this page, and shutting the tab sweeps the cabinet clean behind you.
